1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Hexprite software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. License

The Hexprite Monochrome Edition is provided free of charge, but it is currently closed-source and proprietary software. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal and commercial projects.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or distribute the software without permission.

Open Source Goal: We are currently running a fundraising campaign. If the project raises $500 in donations, the core monochrome edition source code will be released under an open-source license.

3. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
